Peter Edwin Slocombe (born August 21, 1984) is a British/American singer songwriter, professional saxophone player, and music producer. He was born in Wolverhampton, England and raised in Ipswich, Suffolk before relocating to Agoura Hills, California in 1996.
Peter holds a B.F.A. and M.F.A. in music from the California Institute of the Arts with an emphasis in Jazz Studies. In 2006 Peter was one of the recipients of the John Coltrane Music Scholarship for Saxophone Performance.
As a professional musician Peter divides his time teaching and performing. He has over 10 years experience teaching privately, working with non-profit organizations, and running clinics for High Schools and Colleges. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA where he works as a freelance saxophone player and has been featured as a frontman, sideman, and soloist on thousands of live dates and studio sessions.
Peter has four albums out under his own name. His most recent EP “A One Way Ride” set for release in February 2016 was funded by an Indiegogo Campaign and was a huge success, trending at number 1 for all music projects and receiving a personal twitter mention from the Indiegogo staff.
